Financial backing for growing startups
One of the highlights of the congress was the confirmation of funds and institutions with more than €300 million available for investment in startups. This financial backing, coupled with the strategic connections of the first day, marked an important point for the event.
“We know that investment deals have been closed in just three hours on investment ticket, and we are going to exceed €1.5 million. That investment capacity in pre-seed and seed phase, I think it is the most important thing. When you are born with an idea, you lack that momentum. Therefore, it will be an interesting two days, we will exceed expectations and many deals will be closed,” said Josu Gómez Barrutia, CEO of the Business Market network and President of the International Startups Association.
